Reflecting on Our Words--The Autumn Edition

It's hard to believe that September is screeching to a halt and October is here.
Wow.

Is it my imagination or is '09 just flying?

As many of you know, four blog buddies and I set out on a virtual adventure at the beginning of the year, choosing a word that would be a beacon through the 365 days of 2009. And each month, we posted a little something about those words.

This month, it was suggested that we each post a video pertaining to our words. So sit back, get that finger ready to hit play and enjoy a little vlogging as we continue our word challenge.

My word for the year is excellent and I selected Kari Jobe's 'I'm Singing' video. Kari is the dear friend of our dear friends and this year released a fantastic new album. Her video for the title cut is a compilation of her singing with viewer-submitted examples of how those viewers are continuing to sing, even in the midst of difficult times. There are some truly excellent folks represented in this work, along with Kari herself...

Mommy Victory used her skills and came up with this beauty for her word, discipline...

Mirus Peg celebrates balance with this Moody Blues hit...

And then there's my dear Fly Girl, with this tribute to a favorite artist in honor of joy and faith...

Okay, this is less than excellent, but I cannot seem to get AVT Coach's video to post. Here's the youtube link that will allow you to see her selection from Akeela and the Bee....
And that wraps up this month's challenge! As always, it's so fascinating to me to see the visual representation of these words to these blog buddies. Have you chosen a word yet?
